About Clones Erne East Partnership

Clones Erne East is a region in the Upper Erne Basin, located in the North West of the island of Ireland, that has over centuries been intrinsically linked – socially, culturally, geographically and economically.

Ranging over parts of counties Monaghan and Fermanagh, it is bounded by Drum in the south, Cooneen to the north, Threemilehouse to the east and Carrybridge to the west.

As we enter the 21 st Century Clones Erne East Partnership has emerged to take the region forward with a vision to create:

Clones Erne East is fortunate to have the strong alliance of Fermanagh District Council, Clones Town Council and Monaghan County Council as a backbone. This coupled with cross border funding through EU programmes, will enable the local community, business, youth and tourism to be inwardly supportive whilst outwardly focused.
